What’s the Story Behind “727” Scrubs?

“727” is a play-off of the shift Dr. Stokes worked while employed as a clinical nurse at Cleveland Clinic (main campus) in Cleveland, Ohio. Nurses typically worked 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the inpatient setting.
